Naginata (or that backroom polearm)

08:32 AMRight now Dworak is 9th level and next train will want to use the naginata or how ever you spell it. My question is right now with a lance his RT in brig is 9 seconds is the base speed of a naginata faster than that of a lance? How about damage dealt? I would be more than willing to give a lil of the damage up for a quicker swing so that is what im hoping.

Strangely enough, the naginata is omitted from the chart. As a polearm user, however, you might be able to put this information to good use. The naginata can be a powerful weapon, but before making your decision to go with either the naginata or the lance, try swinging both of them a couple times (preferably under the effect of haste II). This will let you know which one swings faster and hopefully will give you a sense of the damage/crit factors, comparatively speaking.
