2 weapon users and mstrikers

05:24 PMTwo quick questions here from a wizard that's dabbling in warrior affairs.

1. Does training in shield use affect DS in any stance for a two weapon user?

2. What is everyones take on mstrike? I have heard anywhere from nothing over 9 ranks to double for life. So with all the dissagreements i was wondering what all you peoples thoughts where.

06:47 PMMy take on it depends on what kind of warrior you are. If you're two handed do it for life. Helps DFRedux, very valuable when doing focused MSTrike, will help in the future when up against multiple targets.

MO is a skill that doesn't get in the way of much if you single in it. Might as well go for it.

Oh and as for shield... does you no good at all if you have a two handed weapon. Infact it will just lower your DS.

08:26 PMIf that is the type of warrior you are, then yes, it's useless. The vast majority of warriors, however, can't live without a shield.

Granted, even if you don't ever use a shield, training in shield use has it's uses, the biggest of which is that shield use is a very cheap redux skill, and the extra 2 physical points to train in it each level likely will not be missed. reg
