Hunting

12:16 PMI gotta 45 year old Wizard that i'm trying ta hunt. and cant seem to get any good fry's offa anything self cast. Bolt 315 defend round the same. voln.. anyone got a good idea where i could fry?

What I used to do was go into one of the ladder rooms... but up a mana node and then use cone of lightning.

04:14 PMFeh phantasms suck for wizards or least i thought, used to much mana, best thing to do is go to wind wraiths on isle 515 and 906, should take bout 3-4 minor fires each and you get glowin vials occasionally kill like 5 and yer maxed reg
07:35 PMIn my experience, Phantasmas are far easier to kill than wind wraiths. From what I remember, wind wraiths weren't the greatest wizard critter.

09:11 PMKranar had the right idea... also Ahira can mana leech the corpses that are in the same area rather easily I think. reg
05:55 AMWell thing is theres roughly no more then 3 phantasms in the area at one time with about 4 hunting groups there, they defend at near 260-270 so i ended up having to use symb submission way to much, wraiths defend at like 220 and theres usually a bunch of um so just keep rapid fireing and i guarantee it takes like 3-4 casts to kill one compared to the 3 or 4 bolts it took me to kill a phantasm... just from my experience least wise reg
09:09 AMTried Pinefar? 904 works well on the glacei & frozen corpses.

10:21 AMPinefar is a great place to hunt. I made my first fortune there. Glacies use to drop 2k to 5k gems every time.

But it's a ghost post since the change. So, make sure you let someone know you are hunting there that can retreive you.

08:11 PMMonastic liches in the monastary were a fun hunt for me when I was 24. Give those a try, but ya need to be having some elemenal bias and maybe blues, too, since they cast a mean silence. They carry some nice sized boxes, too.
