Wisdom

I was having an argument with Methais over something having to do with CS.

Mainly the question of how Wisdom and Aura bonus's act in CS formulas.

I've always added the two bonus's then divided by 2, to get the bonus to my CS.. I mainly play a sorcerer though.

Methais was planning out his spells up to 160, and at one point he says he adds just Aura bonus in full to his CS. Doesn't use Wisdom at all. He says he only does this for his 3 spheres of magic though. (wizard, minor elemental, and major elemental). He agrees that my method is the one commonly used for sorcerer and spirit spheres.

My question is whether his method for elemental and wizard CS was right.. reg

<<He agrees that my method is the one commonly used for sorcerer and spirit spheres.>>

Only for sorcerer. As far as I know, spirit spells are based off wisdom bonus and elemental based off aura, and sorcerer based off both / 2. reg

Methais is correct. reg
Mwahahahahahaha! :-P reg
Care to show some proof? I won't believe it that easily. Of all the wizards I've had, the way I calculate CS has always worked right.. and they have had varying wisdom stats, high and low.

Wrong... the bonuses are determined this way:

Mental CS bonus is based only on charisma
Elemental CS bonus is based only on aura
Spiritual CS bonus is based only on wisdom

Sorcerer sphere is a cross between elemental CS and spiritual CS so you take the sum of wisdom and aura and cut it in half.
