08:07 PMDo you mean wizard base circle? Train in that until you've learned all the spells at least. Only Boil Earth (917)and I think Weapon Fire (915) become marginally better with overtraining.

04:49 PMPersonally I would remain fully singled in my wizard circle, I would go up to 550, and then continue to train in the 400s and remain fully singled in wizard.

From my experience this rumour started way back at a wizard seminar a couple years back that was run by an elder wizard. His intentions were good and he was answering questions asked to him about wizardry in general. Well whatdoya know someone asks him what good are wizard spell ranks since they don't seem to do much of anything and he answers that it increases weapon fire CS, and he said he BELIEVED it also affects the strength of boil earth.

I believe Mahegh was also at that seminar, so he must have agreed with that info and ever since then the rumour has grown that wizard ranks help boil earth.

Truth is that Mahegh's guess on what helps boil earth isn't any better than anyone elses guess. The opinion of a GH is not factual, it's simply an opinion and should be received as one. When actual research is done with the spell it's easily clear that wizard ranks don't affect boil earth. This is demonstrated in the fact that warriors, clerics, and empaths boil just as hard and effective as wizards their age even though they have absolutely no wizard spell ranks.

04:22 PMI still have not figured out the CS formula for best training.

I went to 950, 550 and then doubled in 400s. When you hit the rift. You boil or estrike everything.

Same as the NEW hunting ares in EN. Everything wards bolts to good. We are now officially guarded stance hunters like Sorc's once you hit the rift.
