Subject Notes on Council of Wizard Meeting Tonight (3834)

Good eve to my fellow brethren,
I've penned these notes detailing the discussions that took place at the meeting tonight for the Council of Wizards.
The Council voted upon and agreed to the following:
The Council decrees that all wizards be mentally prepared before the day of the casting of the binding of the new pool. (This date is still the upcoming 3rd, starting at 2 elven) Each wizard is free to decided how best to be prepared whether through mediation or otherwise.
The Council of Wizards seeks proposals from the wizards of the land on the function of the Council after the enchanting goals have been met. These should be in the form of a charter. Send all proposals to Neokume@aol.com.
It should be noted that two topics under discussion were whether the Council should have any function with the upcoming guild. One against, and one for. For instance, should the Council seek a leadership role from Guildmaster Telchor in running Guild affairs in anyform?
The Council debated the merits of having all the races present during the Binding, as was done by the elves when they attempted something similar. Also debated was whether all elements attuneable by wizards should be present (ice, fire, and lightning). The Council didn't vote on these issues but consensus seemed to seek both for the binding. That is, it would be nice to have but not necessary. Further questions to Telchor may help clarify these issues.
The Council urges all wizards of the Council (that is if ye are helping with Guildmaster Telchor, or wish to) to seek out wizards of the lands to attend the Binding of the new mana pool. Skilled wizards are highly sought after, but all help is needed.
The Council agreed that the skills of a Bard would be useful in determining whether the component gems are rechargeable or of orb quality. I believe Larktrill (sorry for spelling) agreed to help on the 3rd, but it would be adviseable to secure a couple backup Bards.
The Council agreed that the next meeting date shall be in eleven days, on the 30th of this month at 11 pm elven. Telchor advised this was exceptable to him. This is an attempt to help those wishing to meet on a weekday night other then the Day of the Huntress. The meeting place will be outside the wizards pavilion on the east side of the Landing.
