Seems like Sand Devils got harder to hunt...

They now come spelled up with wall of force, elemental defense III and elemental barrier at minimum, and they can calm which is no longer warding based but much like the ranger version of calm.

Here is a fresh Sand Devil I came across...

You gesture at a sand devil.

A sand devil's eyes roll up into its head as it slumps to the ground.

Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

You gesture at a sand devil.
You hurl a freezing ball of pure cold at a sand devil!
AS: +446 vs DS: +240 with AvD: +65 + d100 roll: +26 = +297
... and hit for 91 points of damage!
Base of skull frozen, removing any feeling from the neck down. The sand devil lives just long enough to realize a painless death!
The sand devil screams one last time and dies.
The powerful look leaves a sand devil.
The wall of force disappears from around a sand devil.
The deep blue glow leaves a sand devil.
The very powerful look leaves a sand devil.
The white light leaves a sand devil.
A sand devil seems to lose some dexterity.
