Your playing a one sided game. You show what warriors can take. What about what they can't take. That you most likely can? Let me go into a few well known details. Most, not all, but most warriors dont have spells. The ones that do usually dont have many. My lvl 98 warrior has no spells. He does however have 102 in mana share and some nice scroll reading abilities. He has to send mana to ask for a full spell up from a sorcerer every hunt. What happens when he is there with no one to spell him up? And that doesnt even protect him as much as he needs. Sure he can take hits from swords.. But what about spells? And what about what he can hunt? My warrior has to hunt lunatics. The only thing he can kill on plane one. guess how many lunatics there are? And anyone hunting on one hunts them. So its not like the witches or warlocks that are for swingers.. Spells kill em just fine.

Thats from all those little hits for 7 and 8 damage. They hit the same place over and over making what can become huge bleeders.

Now a sorcerer.. he hunts in guarded. Most of those swings never would have hit em. None of the spells would have from my experience as a sorcerer. (Yeah I got more than just the warrior.. I have alot of characters. Go figure)
Anyways just tring to give the other side of the story.. sure we can take those sword hits without being critted or losing 100 health.. But we can fall. We do fall. Voids can kill us pretty easy, critters can kill us with spells and by nicking us with those 10 point hits while we are stunned or webbed.. being stunned is not uncommon with voids around. 235 health max usually get hit a few times before a situation gets ugly. So 180-200 blood. Taking hits from 5-20 points a piece.. How many hits can we survive? Not too many. And just in case yer wondering, I was using 4x gear all around. Have somewhere around 77% redux as far as I can tell from formulas I have seen. Unless I calculated wrong.

My 119 rogue has 72% redux. With the heavy crit padded metal breastplate never takes a stun. I take 1 point of damage from all attacks on one. 1 point of damage from 2. Except spells.

now we talk about the plane I hunt. Warlocks have a 30% chnace of warding me if I give them the chance. But I walk in sweep\tackle them. If they manage to prep a spell I go on. Wow, no chance of being hit by that spell. See where I am going? Birds use to stun me until GP. Not no stun ever. Unless I have 7 spirit and no signs. Then a 1rd stun.

You know what a 1rd stun meant before GP with birds? No, you don't. They would hit you 6+ times before you rolled out of it. That is in 1rd. Now they barely swing, and no 1 rd stuns.

When I go to 4, with the claid swinging lost souls I will post it.

But until then. I can walk around in off stance with no worries of being killed. At all. I have gotten killed once on 3 by a void. All other times, I used stun amnuevers to move out of range. Because I mastered it.

Until then. Redux is WAY overpowered. This is from a redux user.

In fact, I will post my hunting I am about to go on after this post. you be the judge of it.

AestheticDeath is using 4x gear all around. Edge you are using heavy crit padded breastplate. Not everyone is rich enough to buy the nice gear you can You cant really judge game balance by god auction items or if not that it is super nice gear you have. Im jealous out my ears. reg
Unless you are spending all your cash on clothes, alters or whatever, you should be able afford some descent gear by 100. Get a Fel-hafter. Get some FGB. Get a 7x shield. ^ mil or so for it all? You can afford that.

All my coins have gone to my sorcerers or younger characters. My warrior never needed more than 4x gear. Sure it would be easier with alot of the more expensive stuff.. But if it works don't fix it.
I am, however, a little skeptical about you taking only one point of damage on all those hits with crit padded armor. Either your DS is high enough that getting hit wouldn't matter or your redux is higher than 72%.. Of course with a lvl 119 character.. I would hope you survive planes 1 and 2 that easily. And warlocks are on plane 3.. not one. reg

Yes, I saw that in his first post. I figured he switches between armors. Guess not. Either way with the damage padding that takes 10 damage That would mean you never take more than 11 damage? which means you still have a fairly high DS right? All I am trying to say is that just because we have redux, it doesn't make it a cake walk. Redux may be too powerful. I dont personally believe it is. Where would we be without it? Have you thought about that? Look at the spell rogues with no redux.. Ick. They can't take hits either. Without redux everyone would be like the spell rogues.. A guy with a limited amount of spells but a high swinging AS. Couldn't actually hunt with his spells, they would just be a supliment to his sword arm. And if they modified redux so it wasnt as powerful, where would we be? I dont know.. Maybe it wouldnt be all that bad. We would definatly have a harder time hunting though. Personally I think if armor training actually yielded a bonus to DS we would have alot of problems solved. And redux would almost not be needed if they did it right. reg
I don't use ANY crit padded armor for my rogue. Only damage padded or no padding. My point is. I don't get stunned at all. I can walk around in off stance. I am not maxed out in shield or CM. In fact. I got pretty crappy redux for being 120. Only got like 72 to 78%. That is why I use the damage padded armor. So in fact. I am nothing special. In fact only a 5x shield.

Should see the other redux people with the full plate vs my metal beastplate. I tried to post my hunting trip. Going to edit it which i don't like. Will be the next post. reg

[The Rift]

The once shiny maoral wood has dulled now with age, and the ship's ribs and masts have split and fallen. The only passengers of the vessel are the rats, which number in the thousands. It's almost as if the boat itself writhes with their movements. High above, on the one remaining mast, flies a flag bearing a rat skull and crossbones. You also see a Vvrael warlock and the Jestine disk.

[The Rift]

A shoreline stretches before you, the sea dark and thick with salt. Just a small way up the beach, an unusual sight catches your eye. A small child walks the beach, holding hands with a large winged humanoid. One of its reddish wings is wrapped protectively around the child, and her small hand is tightly clutching one of his large fingers. She appears to be talking, although what she is saying is too difficult to understand to any except her unusual companion.
Obvious exits: east, southwest.

Welp. I am now hunting the rift with 4x metal breastplate(0 padding) and a 0x shield. Since I tempered all of my shields for enchanting. My 121 rogue takes no stuns and yet to die other then a void. I hunt in off stance to sweep things faster.

On plane 4. They took the claids away from the lost souls and gave them Scythes. Only spells can kill me now. With GP warlocks have only a 30% chance of warding me and if I use 430 I have no chance of getting warded by them.

Is redux fair for game balance? Seriously. To make critters powerful enough to kill redux users. They will be able to ward a wizard with ease or swing so hard they will kill a wizard in def stance. All the other classes have better def stance then a wizard or better td spells.
