Cervantes is the best, everybody that plays with me knows it, we let the bad people pick him , and only pick him when we need to inflate our record a bit. Siegfreid and Kilik are my favorites, sieg's almost as bad as cervantes though. Taki can murder anybody thats even a little slow.
The games so balanced its amazing. Even the "sucky" characters like voldo are good if you know their moves. Its one of my favorite games. I hardly play anymore though, my friends can only stand so many loses ...
As to why cervantes is the best. He has the best combination of speed and power. His moves can kill you in 3-4 hits like astoroth, but hes as fast as medium speed characters like kilik and hwang.
Inferno is the same way. Edgemaster is for good people to pick, inferno is the sucky persons edgemaster. His two unique moves are enough to make him one of the best characters.
Even though im not the best with them, i like rock/astoroth for looks/cool moves. reg
