Moving along..(and in a blatant attempt to get the lightbulb next to this folder lit more frequently) Almost three months later--what is everyone's thoughts on GS Plat post-price drop? Has it improved or taken a turn for the worse?
Personally, I had a lot of bad feelings about it. I was very happy with the strict roleplaying environment, and felt that a dramatic drop in price would attract a bunch of people joining for reasons other than roleplaying (i.e powerhunting, merchanting, etc.) and the ways of old would be lost..there would be very little to no roleplaying..but so far I have to say it hasn't been nearly as bad as I expected. From my experiences, there still is that "small community" feel to plat, where everyone knows each other, and everyone still is roleplaying. However I've also heard quite a few complaints from people, saying they feel it's very "clique"-ish, and that they were ignored. Some even left Plat and went back to Prime...what are your thoughts if you played plat? And if you are a person who tried it out and left, what was the deciding factor?
