Height debate...

Well... I started this rather pointless argument in the lands and it was kinda fun so I figured I'd take someone's advice and start a thread on it.

Who is taller, elven types or humans?

I have always considered elves to be slightly shorter than humans with a slender frame.

I view elves as generally 5'5"-6' tall and not very heavy. I see them as very well toned and fit, sort of refined.

Humans well they can get big. They can be huge and muscular, then can be fat and smell.

I view elves as being about 5'5"-6' for females and 5'10"-6'5" for males. I view them all as being tall and slender, lean-muscled rather than bulky. Genetically predisposed to have high metabolisms, and a cultural tendency towards more natural foods, rather than the high fat-high protein diet most humans have.

Humans I see as they are in this world, with a wider range of variation.

Fat and smell? Interesting...

Well... I don't remember where exactly, but I found the GS3 version of elves in the play.net site and according to our game, the humans are of average height, ranging from 5'5-6' and the elves are about 6'... no range is given for the elves, simply 6'. I think I found it under one of the help files for rolling up your first character.

I remember hearing somewhere that elves are actually somewhat *taller* than humans in GS. (Actually, might have been DR, but I think it's the same for both in this case.) I always think of them as being shorter so that kinda bugs me. reg
