12:26 PMMy friend has a couple of children who like to play on and old computer. It does not run Windows 95 (Yes thats very old) and it does run Windows 3.1. Does anyone know where I maybe be able to download a free version of this at? I would just throw it on a disk and load it in to the computer then. Thanks I would appreciate anyone help.

01:54 PMWell there's lots of places you can get a bootleg copy of win3.x

But if you're looking for legitimate freeware, there is no such thing for MS Windows. They don't give it away.

Try the warez sites, or just ask a neighbor for theirs. When Win3.x came out they didn't have nearly as many protection codes in their software as they do now, so you shouldn't have any problem loading it.

02:09 PMThough i guess not good for little kids, TINY Linux is made for slow computers and only takes up about 50 MB. And as long as its only 3.x, you'll find alot more capatability with Linux for a change.

I don't exactly recall, but i think all it requires is a 386 with 8 MB of Ram.

And of course, Linux is free.
