Worst job ever, or at least yet.

So what're your bad job experiences? I think my worst job yet: Janitoral at a daycare on Sundays, man did that suck, and my last weekend day was gone. But it paid ok... I'm sure someone can beat that!

I detassled corn as a kid (round 15) I think.

The seed growers need to do that so the corn doesn't cross polanize with another strain. The fields were hot, wet, and muddy. The corn leaves cut into your skin and the bugs were out in droves.

So yes slave child labor at it's best. I remember waiting for the bus and envying the grocery bagger job.

All for some spare change to blow on fishing and hunting.

Hiway reg

Age 13, helping build a foundation for a friggin house, 15 bucks for 6 hours of work each day, damn slave drivers...

I volunteered at our city's crappy zoo in the middle of the ghetto when I was like 13. Warner Park Zoo... it was a really grimy job. I still have scars from the many cuts on my hands from putting up the mesh-screening on the new prairie dog containment. Not to mention the nauseating reminiscent smell of putrid meat and carrots...

One time my neighbor, who works for Boeing's fiberglass department, wanted to make a Canoe out of fiberglass. He called me up and asked me to help him for money.

We had to put these big kevlar sheets on the skeleton of the boat, and paint them with this weird sticky glue stuff. It was 100 degrees outside, and the stuff was toxic so we had to wear gloves and masks. The canoe was like 30 feet long, (he was making a big canoe), and it took a while to saturate the sheets. We had to put 3 layers on to complete the boat. Also, you had to make sure you didn't leave any bubbles or pockets between sheets. The entire job took 4 hours and the guy gave me 20 dollars... I was in 8th grade though so I didn't say anything.

Also some lady up my street recently only paid me 20 dollars to rake her leaves. I always get skimped out on odd jobs.

When I got arrested, they told me to do community service before I went to court to lessen the charges. I volunteered 72 hours in the emergency room of the local veterans hospital. I ran blood samples to the lab, made pharmacy runs, pushed stretchers, helped patients discharge from the hospital, etc.. I also got to help during the surgeries, supplying them with equipment and such. Watching the surgery was interesting..and extremely nasty. (groin surgery)

I got my charges dropped though. :P

I work at the Gap in the mall, that's a pretty sucky job as well.
