Bloodwrath hoax in DR

10:35 PMI was just looking over the Simu boards, and, after being intrigued by the Bloodwrath scheme/hoax/whatever, kept up with the story. This news article will no doubt be supressed by Simu (unless these quotes are accurate) in very short order, so I offer the link for your perusal.

During "quests" that cost extra money, players go on 20-hour-a-day online binges. Although it’s not the norm, wives have called Simutronics to beg the company to suspend their husbands’ accounts. Neil Harris, an executive vice-president at Simutronics, is unapologetic.

"Well, you know, they could be smoking crack," he says. "We’re certainly offering something a whole lot healthier."

03:02 PMI remember reading about this on the official boards... the announcement regarding his "death" and the letters from the wife, then people saying how great he was, then someone posted that they had talked to him after the attacks, then the apology letter, and then people stating their opinions on if he should be banned, or not.

It just seemed like a huge mess, and very sad.

03:52 PMTrue or not this is what I pull from this, well lets call it a story, for now. Just reminds me that people are the one variable that can never be totaly equated or fully understood.

People will ask the "Whys?" and the "Hows?" for awhile after this in a hope to prevent and or understand it. Me I won't loose sleep over it. I will continue to be me.

Personal opinion: if it is true find him and destroy him. Those that feed off the weak need to be introduced to someone more powerful and feel what it's like, but again that's just me and my opinion.
