Alot of the funniest bits are in the commercials (the missy elliot bit that was great wasnt even in the movie).
It does offer a few more laughs, but its not as good as it could have been.
It actually tries to make sense, which is ashame. Though I did like the movie overall, but thats because i can totally relate to the major theme.
If you havent watched any previews, you'll laugh your ass off.

And what do you mean 'the best parts are on the commercials'? The video taping scene isn't even in the movie, and the funniest part (scene with the dean and his wife in the guy's home) isn't on the previews. But I do have to agree that the movie is way too hyped for some reason.
(And they played a Social Distortion song!!! Wooooooo!
