Rudy Is The Man!

01:42 PMJust to move the discussion of presidents over here.... I would love to see Rudy Giuliani in the running! He made an impression on me prior to 09/11/01. I really liked his sense of humor when he would appear on the David Letterman show, and his accomplishments in New York City are impressive.

I also like that he is so outspoken. During the baseball season, he made no bones that he was a true Yankee fan and couldn't stand the Mets. After watching politicians attend sporting events, and sit one half of the game on the home side, and the second half on the visitor's side...I thought Rudy's honesty was refreshing!

His dedication and leadership after 09/11/01 were amazing. He arrived on the scene moments after the first building was hit, and was trapped for a while when the second tower went down. In comparison, Senator H. Clinton couldn't get out of New York fast enough.

07:37 PMYah know alls I ever hear is about how bad Hilary is....But yah know I haven't anything bad she has done. I don't know I just wanna hear about her. I don't know alot about it cause I am multiple states away and the don't talk too much about her on CNN. Also I think Rudy perhaps used this to build up his popularity just like any major would. Don't get me wrong from what I hear about his accomplishments in New York I can appreciate...but I cannot base my judgement on his political job on one thing that happened. Sorry to disagree with yahs Summer poos!

08:49 PMI agree, Lord Deprav, Rudy's popularity can't be based just on the events from September 11th. However, like I said, I admired him before all that happened. He made major improvements in the city with crime, education, clean up efforts, prostitution, etc. I compare his accomplishments to what the mayor of La-La Land has done, and there's a huge difference.

I'm not a big supporter of Hilary's for a lot of reasons. The most recent has to do with her reaction to September 11th. I'm not sure how many saw her appearance on one of the benefit shows for the firefighters/policemen, but she was almost booed from the stage. Over 300 firefighters lost their lives doing their jobs that day, and she flees from the state. I think that little move is going to end up biting her in the butt.
