Ohio radio

as i made the snow filled jaunt accross the PA and oh-hi turnpike earlier this week (and then accross indiana and up to michigan), i was reminded of why i don't mind the flat, straight, dull, state trooper laden journey through ohio-- ohio has great radio stations. Used to live near DC, so i got some pretty decent stations, but that area doesnt hold a candle to Ohio in my opinion.

Any area's radio stations catch your attention? Am i the lone fan of Ohio radio?

Actually 'lood I am from Toledo. And I will agree with you on that. Cleveland has 2 really good radio stations. Toledo has 106.5 which has become an awesome radio station. Wiot 104.7 is not too bad. But I listen to normally besides 106, 89x and 101.1 the rift which are great Detroit stations that come in here. I think clevelands got 101 which is very similar to 89x and 106. But I must agree with you I am pretty happy with our radio stations. We use to have an awesome one called The Edge which was 105.1. That was the best station I have ever heard. They would get bands that would come accross Toledo area and do edge sessions and it would be like unplugged in Toledo. They have had cool bands lik STP, Weezer, Local H, Sponge, and Oasis (when they rocked) just to name a few. But it is kinda hard to find a station like that anymore. Of course I am a big fan of all Unplugged music. Nirvana Unplugged is my all time favorite album. But I totally agree with yahs. Where in Michigan are you from? Do you get 89x? Anyways catch up with yahs later...

Perrysburg, Ohio.

I admit it, I'm happy with most of Ohio's radio stations. We've got variety, and every type of music seems to have a couple stations out there.

Me? I listen to Rock 106, 89x, the rif, 104.7, 98.3, 92.5, or whatever anyone else wants to listen to (so long as it isn't country).
