My XP+IE struggle...

06:34 AMOk here is the deal, my friend got a box with XP on it the Internet Explorer when opened on it has no tool bars, navigation bars, no nothing save the window. Needless to say it makes surfing the net an exercise in futility. I am a pretty computer savy person and the fact I can't tackle this one irritates the fabric of my being. So any of you know whats up or ideas? I have already uninstalled/reinstalled, played with the properties, etc. So I need ideas.

If you can see anything at the top of your window try right clicking and on the menu that pops up select.
Standard Buttons

I think that should get you the navigation bar back.

Tried that I get the standard close/max/min options nothing related to the IE.

I will give that a try as soon as I can. If that doesn't work I have the ultimate solution ::boot disk, format, fdisk;; Who said that?

I'll let you know what happens.
