Why is it?
Because you need to refresh your browser when you visit the website. The page is probably stored in your cache that way.
Other than that, check your preferences on the boards and see how long you are choosing to show messages for.

Make sure you are logged in, since you can't tell until you try and post, or look at your profile.
Once you look at your profile, go to Preferences and make sure you check that it keeps you logged in on your computer, and checking the cookie option, then save the changes.
Keep your bookmark on http://forum.gsplayers.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi and refresh it if the date and time last logged in looks too old.
Should work after that.
