Howdy

01:48 PMI was talking to Kelood over IM today and he was telling me how well the entire board was doing. I just wanted to drop by and congratulate all of you on a job well done. If I ever start playing Gem again this will be the first place I come too.

03:13 PMIt was really nice that you took the time to post your kind comments, Drew. I think the Admin. and other mods here do a grand job too. These boards are a great resource, not only for information, but a place to "vent" at times, to realize that others have had similar experiences, and to share different viewpoints on issues.

While I certainly agree that the mods deserve a "well done!", the bottom line is that there wouldn't be a Player's Corner if there weren't members contributing and supporting it!

Seriously props to the the mods, members, and lurkers, you all remind me that the world isn't full of stupid people, they just make so much noise you have to notice them.

12:46 AMHey, same to you Kranar, def. nice to see some familar faces around. I was thinking about how we had some big fight or something on the Unofficial boards way back in the day, pretty funny stuff. Yeah, I just stopped playing Gem a while ago and really dropped out of the "scene." But I've been playing since 1994 and it just doesn't hold that much interest to me anymore. I don't know how some of you old timers do it really. Between work and college and what not I just don't have time for it anymore (you know, the usual story). But it is nice that there is still a strong community presence, and I encourage you to continue doing such a good job. Now that it's at the top of my mind I think I'll try to swing by every once in a while.
