Your CS is HOW HIGH?!

A friend of mine is now 41st train. I asked him what spells he knew recently, he told me 470, 923 and 525.

Anyhow, he was taking me out hunting earlier and I saw this.

Aestivus gestures at a krolvin warfarer!
CS: +304 - TD: +125 + CvA: +25 + d100: +84 == +288
Warding failed!
Aestivus blasts a krolvin warfarer for 202 points of damage!

That CS would mean he would have to miss very few triple trains from the start. Is tripling 4 out of 5 trains from the start feasible?

He claims to be able to hunt pyrothags which are something like 70 trains. If that's true, tripling frequency really needs to be looked at. reg

Oh he may hunt pyrothags I won't argue that but he won't be able to do much else after pyros.

No one can triple without neglecting skills like edge weapon and singling in shield...

Once he hits the Eye or the rift... he'll regret having tripled so much so soon. Especially if he's a wizard.

Well, it's obviously possible. By my calculations, if he knows those spells, he's only missed tripling on 8 trainings.

Tripling takes 70 MP each turn. Assume he has 40 physical and 50 mental points. He would need every single one of them just to triple.

My guess is he's training only in a bare minimum of other skills.
