Question About The Treasure System

04:31 PMI'm curious as to how long it takes for the treasure system to update itself. Is it a real time update as in the treasure you receive from critters is updated everytime a critter in that area is killed? Or does it update itself once or twice a day, a week, a month?

It's pretty much understood that the more critters that are killed in a hunting area, the less treasure the system will produce, but it's not all that well understood how long this process takes.

06:15 PM Personally I don't beleive it could be very fast. I can coin hunt for hours and not have a noticable change in the treasure I receive. I can usually make more coin the more I stay in one area because the spawn rate of the critters picks up. Kill more, and get more treasure usually.
Though I do notice sometimes less critters have treasure, it seems I get bigger boxs or more gems from one critter. So it all seems even to me.
Also, the two or three areas I have always coin hunted in haven't changed much, if at all. And I am not the only one who coin hunts in these places. reg
05:24 PMI believe it's real time, but it takes more than 10 or 20 creatures to affect the system. reg
02:30 AMYah know that has always been an unanswered question among me and my friends. What we came to conclude is that we think it is 2 times a month. This is just a total guest but we have debated it quite a bit and thats how we feel. One month I attempted to take a long in my personal notes just to see what would happen. The second week into may of last year, I found tons of pearls and emeralds on stone trolls and same at the end of the month. Within a day or two stone trolls would be cheap again and maybe be lucky to find a pearl or emerald when hunting within 24 hunting periods or so. Just a theory do not take it too serious. But if your interested I would suggest a log of what you make on certain days of the month. reg
01:18 PMI doubt it, I've seen creatures carry different treasures at different times of the day.

Hunt someting at 5 PM, then at 5 AM.
