Feras Weapons

05:46 PMMine never recharge, I have multiple feras daggers, I keep them organized so I know which ones are on which crit levels. That way I can toss a small crited one as a warning shot... Or the severe for the instant death upon nicking. The way they work is basicly as follows....

You find a feras weapon, it will be on one of four levels of lighting crits. Severe, Heavy, Moderate, Small. I have never seen a Severe crit Not kill something instantly. Moderate kills 90% of the time, but somtimes will just get a limb. Moderate just tends to leave 2-3rd degree wounds, but rarly death. Small just does 5-10 damage with minor or occasonaly 2nd degree.

Every time you hit something the feras activates. It will usualy flair causing what ever damage it does on it's current level. Sometimes instead of the flair you get a line something like "small fingers of lightning errupt from the weapon" and NO damage. This is bad, it means you just dropped down to the next lower crit level. I've never noticed a number, I'd had it last 30 swings befor dropping, and I've had it last 3 swings. If the weapon was already on small when that happens, the weapon crumbles.
