Undead Fear?

Just curious, but at what age will I stop being feared by the Zombies in Potter's Field?

My rogue is only 16 trains, and the Fear gets him every now and again.

Don't get hit.

Zombies don't have sheer fear, but rather a type that kicks in if they manage to touch you. That's what the warding you see is for, not disease (which is a hidden roll).

But you should be pretty much immune to it when you're a few levels above them. Even when I was at their level, it never gave me much of a problem. reg

He's talking about sheer fear.

I think it's either 17 or 18.

And the roll is for spirit drain, not fear. reg

It's 18. reg

Huh, no kidding? I've favor hunted there for god knows how long, and the only time I've seen someone younger get feared is if they get hit. Oh well, you learn something new everyday.

How about corpses? Im 20 hunting them, sometimes theyll get me when i attack them. Everyone 10 hunts or so i get the warding type fear. any ideas when itll stop? Also anyone know how to calculate favor per kill? seems like i get 1 favor per corpse? thanks reg
I got feared from corpses til I as at least 27 or so. Not major fearing, like drooling all over myself or anything, but slight fear was commonplace at that age for me.

The favor system was redone to eliminate the SLK (same-level kill) system. "Stepping" in Voln now requires a certain level of kills.

For example, say 2500 "points" until you step. You'd need to kill 100 level 25 undead, or 50 level 50 undead. Your level in relation to the creature has nothing to do with it.

A level 2 character would get exactly much favor from killing a skeleton as would a Rift sorcerer.

I'm pretty sure that's how it all works, anyway. Feel free to correct me, someone, if I'm a little off.

Pretty sure you are right emtel. From my own personal extensive undead hunting experience, it seems like zombies are a little less than 1 favor. Corpses, bout 1-1.5. Warhorses and lords 2. You get the picture, but this is only an educated guess, shouldn't be taken as fact.

you're close enough...

Favor, as far as we could tell starting 4 years ago, is based off of Greater Vruul, who are 75... 3 favor units per kill (if you can find them)...

everything else is based off of those, based on critter age- mummies, level 6, give
[(6/75)*3] favor... Masters, level 16, give [(16/75*3)] favor, and so on...

So who would know how much favor you need per step? Im on step 19 now and working on 20. I hunt corpses and im 21. I'm wondering about how many more kills til i can master? thanks Loranzo reg
There aren't exact numbers, but being on that step and hunting corpses, I'd say 10-15k experience worth of corpses. Just an estimate.

*edit* By the way, Shadowbaron is doing some work on favor requirements. He'd be a good person to ask if you need help calculating favor.
