Anyway, I've witnessed a couple of duels lately and had a few questions. It seems there are certain rules and etiquette for most things, picking, healing, hunting, etc. I was wondering if there were unwritten rules for dueling? I've witnessed two types of duels... one where the duelers are so different in ages the outcome can't be in question, and in the second, the duelers were exactly the same.
I don't have the exact details as to how it started, but a GM took someone's trainings and stats, and went around town boasting he was the biggest and the baddest. It ended up that the GM character challenged the person he had copied to a duel. I thought it was interesting, the offense and defense were exactly the same, so the duelers had to use strategy and other skills. I know I saw things during this duel that I wanted to remember to use when I'm hunting!
What is considered a good duel? I thought the duel where the two were exactly the same age was good. The other duel, where one person was so much older than the other, seemed really unfair and kind of a waste of time. I didn't understand the point.
