At about the same time that I moved to premium, my friend stumbled on a nasty bug and was locked-out. I disagreed with the way the case was handled. My posts were pulled on the official boards, my letters went unanswered. I was disgusted that I had been supporting a company that seemed to care so little about customer satisfaction.
I had advised several friends that as soon as my locked-out friend returned, I was closing my remaining account. As much as I enjoyed playing Gemstones, I couldn't morally support a company that seemed to care so little for it's customers.
I came here and started venting my frustration on these boards. Much to my surprise, it appeared that the CEO and some GMs were actually taking the time to read the posts. I didn't always agree with their tone, or comments, but at least they were responding.
Due to the presence of the CEO, Andraste, and other GM's on these boards, I'm re-thinking my decision to leave. Perhaps some of the staff does want to hear legitimate concerns.
I realize one account won't make a bit of difference to Simutronics, if it stays, or goes. But, I'm the person behind the account and having someone from Simutronics come here and at least acknowledge my concerns made a difference to me.
