The Players Corner Archive

There are things that I enjoy about my wife and there are things that has me drinking death-rum by the barrels. I was hoping that I could point her in this direction. She doesn't understand what I'm saying, or I'm not saying it right. Either way, she ends up crying and then I feel like an ass. Perchance, this would work better.

What I like -
*Having someone with me, SOMETIMES
*She's an awesome hunter
*She's loyal
*She takes good care of me
*She's cute

What I hate -
*Having someone with me ALL THE TIME
*Being dragged to merchants and expected to sit and wait with her for hours
*When she's with her friends she wants me there, but ignores me
*Being summoned the second I wake up
*Trying to find the right gifts

Oh, how grand! Another little peek into the mind of man. Hmm, anyone else notice the "like list" could be describing the family hound-dog? <wink, just teasing with ya, List Man,... kind of>

I hope this helps your relationship, and I think it's a great idea. I would love to see everyone's like/dislike list on their special relationship. I bet we could all learn a lot!

Here's my list.

What I like -

* That he doesn't seem to mind if I talk on and on and on...

* That he doesn't tell me what to do, or not to do

* That he realizes sometimes I need time to myself

* That he may not like all of my friends, but he realizes they are important to me and he tolerates them

* His patience

What I dislike -

* That somehow he's ALWAYS right

* That I have to stun him, web him, and drag him, to get him to dance with me

* That he thinks I hunt better if I close my eyes and throw my blade at the critter

* That he doesn't understand how important it is to me to support myself and make my own way

* That he doesn't always notice my new outfits
