Jaunts For Joe?

Hey Summer,
Need some advice on what to do with my girl. We've had picnics, done the dinner thing, we hunt together and shopped together. Now I'm running out of ideas of things to do on dates together. Any help?

Just Some Joe

Dear Joe,
Well, pooh, Joe... your letter made me realize that I haven't been on that many dates in Elanthia. I'm just an ugly 'ole girl that sits on the floor in the Tower and has boxes shoved in my face. Now that I think about, I remember a dance that I wanted to attend and I believe every women in Elanthia received an invite except me (glances at that nameless-cad). Gads, a girl could get a tad depressed here!

Any suggestions where Joe could take his honey on a date? Would anyone like to share what has been their favorite date?

(And no, Gentleman, a bottle of rum and a room at the local Inn does NOT always equate the perfect date!)

In Wenhimer's Landing:

The Sandcastle.
The garden on the far eastern side of the city, over the bridge.
Helga's for an ale.
The walk to Solhaven (without a script!). reg

Props for not scripting to Solhaven on the date. I'd of scripted the whole date personally. .date (chick's name)

Zan, you are so bad.... and what if things didn't go according to "script"!

Roberta, where is that sandcastle? I really need to get out more....

Still in and around the Landing:

Top of the Colossus to take in the view.

Panning for gold there in the canyons - if you can both climb.

The Jungle Room in Silvergate for a swimming party.

reg

Nothing like a good splash of muddy water in the face to say i love you.

Oh, and make sure you take the fun way, go to the end of the sewers and jump...

Ladies, those are all grand suggestions, and many that I've never thought of. But, look at what we're dealing with here... men that think a hot date is to make a script, and take a hike through the sewers! I think details are desperately needed!

I'm not sure where it is exactly, somewhere in Elven Nations, but a friend was telling me about Lake of Sorrows, where you can skip stones on the lake's surface. It sounded like a romantic spot for a picnic (has to be better than the sewers!).

Sand Castle is off the coastal cliffs, near the Sorc guild building. Also known as the Hermit's Castle.

And 'Lood I had forgotten all about the dive into the river to get to the muddy pool! Oh that is so much fun!

Roberta mucks around in the pool like a turtle. reg

Dinner at the Stone Eye in River's Rest followed by a walk along the beach or through the woods.

Dinner and Dancing at Silvergate. Dress up for it.

Playing on the rope swing in River's Rest or Melgoren's Crossing.

For rowdy types there's the brawling bars in Icemule and Teras.

Pick a place you're both interested in exploring where you never paid much attention to everything and go through room by room looking at everything and discussing it.

Visit all the trees you can climb, there's a lot of them around the Landing. (Good sylvan date.)

Explore the entire catecombs. (Good rogue date.)

Pick a small town to visit you haven't been to before or haven't spent much time in.

Visit all the hot tubs and hot springs. (Quite a few of those too.)

Here's one from an old-timer.

Before the docks in the Landing were converted over to a bashing place ::winces:: .. you could go there at night and watch shooting stars.

Siara's first 'date' was sitting on the dock with a very rogue-ish rogue, where we watched shooting stars. Sooooo romantical. He would say after the night sky lit up, "Madam, I do belive you are lighing up the night"..

How about the life shop, cuz if you are worried about dating chicks in GS you probably should do a little browsing.

Gads, Sonic... have you seen the prices in the "life shop"! Very expensive and costly <wink>!

Now, if you read the little letter from Joe, he wasn't worried about dating ladies, he was asking for suggestions on places to take his lady. Which I thought was kind of sweet. I read of many places that I had never heard of.

Tell Joey to take her to the Head of the Beast. They'll have fun there.
