I have a good friend that I have secretly admired for a while. I stand silent while I watch this friend attracted to people that are not the best choices. My fear is if I speak up and state my feelings, it will scar our friendship. Any help?

Hmmm... no clue of gender, very interesting. Well, this is kind of touchy and you didn't give too much information. Personally, I always think honesty is the way to go. It's not really fair that you keep your feelings a secret. I would rather state my feelings and deal with the repercussions, than wonder and guess.
As far as not approving of your friend's choices, again, if asked I would be honest about my opinions, but make sure my friend knew I respected their point of view.
