09:01 PMI'm wantin ta get away from all the fightin and finally gain some serious levels.. anyone tell me what the best critters are to hunt witha warrior that mstrike swings 263, defends 153..? Fralcon whats the best thing you've found OUT of the landing..

of course lookin for somthing with good treasure, and that swarms, or is common atleast..

09:25 PMZul logoth is perfect, hunt lizards and veabas, I'd advise gettin a crit weighted weapon though.

12:34 AMLizards and Veabas are dirt poor, and their tails and claws aren't even worth the time to skin them.

You never mentioned your level, so try the grutik in the southern caverns of Zul Logoth. The warriors are mid-20's, shaman are upper 20's, and the wormlings are lower 20's. They were pretty rich the last time I was there, but I understand a lot of legend++ characters have been camping so its probably a lot less now. Read my reply to Fralcon's topic further down the board for more info. reg

01:31 AM I'd just head straight to Orcswold instead as there's tons of swarms, a low defense, and the critters have lighter armor and less padding than in Zul Logoth. Zul is mainly for two-handers and/or ambushers.

01:42 AMHunting in orcswold with a 153 DS will get you owned every time you go out to hunt. Grutik shamans tend to have a high defense unless on their backs or you happen to catch them before they spell up, which for me was rarely. I don't know, I had an easier time with scorpions and krynch's than with grutik. Lizards and veabas are easy, even with a ohe, but also dirt poor. Grutik are quite rich though. It's a tradeoff.

Heh, if you hunt with a 153 DS, then you deserve to be owned. There's other stances than offensive and defensive.

I have a 242 offensive AS and I hunt in advanced stance with a 211 AS a lot of the times and I kill them just fine. He has a way higher attack strength than me as well as better armor so he can take the hits with a defense of about 190 or so. It's easy stance dancing the things too.

If he were in light armor and his defense was ALWAYS 153, then yeah, he'd have a problem, but if he knows how to hunt, then he won't.

Seanathon already has the double m-strike though. Since the critters crit easily, he should be able to stun them if not outright kill them.

I find critters alone at times quite often since I'm usually the only hunter in that area at this time of night so he should have no problems either. Since there's not that many people, there's less swarms which means he can go into offensive a lot. He said he has an AS of what, 260 or so... he should have no trouble with them on a double m-strike.

01:33 AMWelp, been up here a day.. been great so far, had some first beginer mistake deaths of course, but once i got used to it its great.. VERY quick fry's <faster then ours in varunar Fralcon > and fair treasure.. kinda missing minotaurs, and the pleasent bickering of the landing, but i think i'll stick it out atleast for a trail or two, cant come back THAT fast.
