10:32 AMRecently I was speaking with some friends that I hadn't seen in GS for sometime.

They were talking in general about why they came back and one made some comment about going to see Marrietta.

I informed him that the calander shows she is getting married and he was out of luck.

He just chuckled back and said she is never unavailble.

Now I have no idea what he is talking about, so I ask him and he goes into this long talk about people is GS that are paid silver to do CyberSex.

I am not saying she is one of them, but does anyone else have information regarding such things?

10:49 AMConsidering the prospect of paying for Cybersex, I find it hard to believe. Although when I consider the probable level of sex activity that the majority of GS players engage in on a regular basis, the latter doesn't seem as ridiculous. This reminds me of something funny my friends and I took part in in high school. One of our friends was notorious for having Cybersex, so one guy, Joe, made a fake SN and managed to have Cybersex with the guy and not say anything more than "keep going" or "oh yea" himself. Needless to say it was quite a funny situation when we broke it to the kid that it was all a set up. I still have the log.

I also don't doubt that it's true, look at all the alters and stuff she's always buying. It's not the first time I heard of GS girls basically being hookers. Karien comes to mind. reg

12:05 PMI really do not see why it should matter. Who cares how old she is in real life, it isn't like she is gonna get AIDS through a computer screen. And if a 14 year rocks her world on the computer, then so what? It decreases the chance that she is really out screwin around. If she gets paid for cybersex in GS that is how she chooses to play. If the GM's find it unacceptable they will do something about it.
Until then, Marietta has the right to do practically anything she wants within the virtual world of GemStone III. Age has never been a factor within the lands, all players are expected to know what is real and what is not, yet sadly, this is rarely true. Buckwheet, I am sorry if I seem a little forthright in my last few posts, but I am tired of seeing these boards dragged through the mud like we are the bottom of the food chain. From now on, people are gonna get exactly what I think, even if they are pissed off by it or not. It is their problem, not mine. If they choose to be children about something, then only they can stop themselves. I will no longer sit back and tolerate immature idiocy within the boards that I help moderate.

10:38 PMHonestly I do not care if people cyber in Gemstones or not. But here is an idea to throw at the GM's...When Gemstones came out, it was a family based game. Does this make it still a family game if this is happening in it? Cause I would not sit and play Gemstones with my family on other computers knowing that my son or daughter could be have cybersex on the internet.

This brings a bunch of stories to mind...although...as we've seen with Scint...I can't post names ...or can I? Someone get back to me on that...if that's the case...lookout!

There's a few people I know that are together in GS as well as out of game...Krackenstar/Kaikeyi, Azure/Drakne, etc. Both lovely people in-game as well as out-of-game...(David's (Krack)one of my all-time favorite people in-game as well as out-of-game)...

Well...there was a couple that usedta be together...a cleric/bard in the game...however out of game they got busy IRL while watching eachother play...under the desk...i don't care to get into certain descriptions of actual events...I'm sure everyone has a sense of creativity and imagination! Why we play GS of course! :
