After initially being banned by Andraste for 30 days I didn't complain and was desrving of it. However 2 days later I receieved an email from Reniko saying.."you are now being permanenetly banned because after reviewing your past records, we feel you are deserving of this etc etc" So I was like "how about you send me a list of all my warnings and other offenses."
Surprisingly he did this, and I was able tolook back at all the things I've done in the past.. and to my amazement there were things in there I had NOOOO involvement in. SUch as ..so and so killed this person and we believe from observation that you were in control of this character that murdered. I honestly couldn't believe GM speculation was being used in this situation. There was a case whre someone got on my account somehow and made a DR account and did a report saying some vulgar things to the GMs in that game. At the time I explained to them that it wasn't me and they understood etc. HOWEVER, even this was on my record as if the GM never made it known on my records that it wasn't me who did this.
I was finally able to avoid being permanently banned, but its amazing the length to which GMs will get someone banned that they don't want to have around. They will go so far as saying you did something you didn't even do heh.
