It'd be nice to see a strait forward policy, not to mention to work on the broken stuff first instead of jumping to breakage, mutters reg
Simu needs to keep to their promises, and take care of old problems before they create new ones. They seemed to jump right to breakage, and look how long it's taking. It's been delayed for some time now, and probably will continue to be.
Feedback also needs to be looked at. The turn around time for a response is horrendous, and half the time they seem to be computer generated and don't even address the issue you brought up.
GM consistency is another area that needs to be looked at. I find it disheartening to hear all the squabbling that goes on, but I suppose it's not without reason. The game's policy itself may be straightfoward, but the interpretation of it, and the application by Simu, needs to be revamped. The boulder is just one area that comes to mind, although that opens a whole new can of worms. ::ducks::
If Simu would take some of these things to heart, I think they'd end up with a happier customer base and a better product than they started with.

Details like, oh, how about putting descriptions on ALL the critters? "It looks like your typical blahblah" is lame, at best, lazy and unprofessional at worst. If the staff cares that little about the things they create, then they shouldn't bother creating them at all.
It's those little details, or lack thereof, that indicates to me just where their priorities are. And don't give me any crap about how those were the old critters. Old critters CAN have new descriptions and I can write one up for a few dozen inside of a day.

I've never personally been in trouble, other than a warning for scripting that I forgot to exit out of when I went to answer the door. But I watch other players abide by one GM's policy, which gets them into trouble with another GM's different interpretation of the same policy, and I think that if a GM's willing ban for it, but another is telling the players that it is ok, then there is something wrong.
Alteration policies is another one for me...I recently had a waistchain altered, which the merchant would not allow the word "gleaming," which was kinda silly since the belt was made of strands of gold and silver, and was adorned with tiny jewelled bells. Yet the skirt made by this merchant before my belt was a silvery gossamer skirt that catches light with every movement. What that skirt is doing with the light it's catching, I've no idea, but it had better not be gleaming or it'd be another SIMU no-no!

To my surprise I received an auto response by the next day and an actual response in three days. Even more to my surprise they tended to agree with my points.
So yes I know there were and may still be problems, but they are working on at least that aspect of it.

Oh come on Dru-Dawg... you know you can't have BOTH. That'd be unfair.

I think *can* is the problem word here.

Beyond that, I agree with Roberta, it's the little things. Too many creatures don't have descriptions, too many rooms don't have objects, and so on. reg
I understand the need for "growing pains" and number crunching, but for me the allure of the place has always been the possibility that I could encounter something that fostered the illusion I was part of an ongoing story.
I don't even have to "participate", per se --it's fun to watch.

Kind of a generalized statement...I know, sorry. reg
search for "asheron call ff" on ebay. haha regUnfortunately any storyline aspect in AC is ruined by the overwhelming amount of kewl d00dz that make most snerts in GS look like master roleplayers.
Hell, I'll sell you my AC account if you want. Level 63 Battlemage, Level 64 Og mage, Level 46 ua/life/melee, Level 30 gimp sword mule (all on Leafcull) and a level 35 3 school dagger on Harvestgain :P
