You all know me, mister urgoyle, mister universe out to get him, the guy who is hated by all the staff, and hates them all back, the guy who's had so many bad experiences they ooze out of his ears..
Yet today, i'm just coming back from a hunt out in teras, bidding good day to my partner, at the statue and Telagan says Arlyle has a tent opened, and he's doing tapestry stuff... Hmm, i thought it was curious, Andaryel, an old acquaintance from the landing comes in, and we yap a bit, then decide to take a walk down there..
Well, there was no list, no nothing, just a few people sitting around, who looked happy at our arrival, one person was just getting finished up. I decided at least my acquaintance, Andaryel, would get an alteration, even though i know every GM has a 'hate this guy' flag on me..
Much to my <pleasurable> dismay, Arlyle says after this guy, he'll do a bit of work for Urgoyle, and Andaryel... So i was confused, kind of, in the 5 or 6 or however many <i lost count> years i've been here, i've NEVER gotten an alteration, and yet, here i was, having a custom made item created just for me....
One linen sheath:1000 silvers
One alteration by Arlyle on said sheath:6000 silvers
Having the look (laquered just didn't look right to me) of the sheath altered after everyone else had their stuff done:Free, but i just had to include a 1250 tip, keeping in mind how much everything else cost.
Realizing that maybe the entire staff ISN'T hopeless beyond all measure:Priceless
-Urgoyle, who knows it should be in the gemstone gem folder, but since i only post here, and a bunch of other people do, i think they should see it here... move the post if you will, but by then, at least someone would've seen it
