11:10 AMSometimes.. if you make enough noise.. and KEEP trying to get someone to listen.. SOMEONE in charge will actually get OFF their big fat pimply pocked ass and take notice.

There is (or was) this little shit Rogue named Airkayn who is MAYBE 10-15 trains... who did NOTHING but sit in a spot that restricted offensive acts.. but allowed you to steal.

He did so.. script stealing for over a week straight. He would clean out all the kids, too young to defend or act on their own against him, and if one of us OLDER folks did anything it was an unwarrented attack because he hadn't been stupid enough to try anything on US.. so we were in the wrong.

One day he fades away.. and maybe 10 minutes later he punted, and hasn't been back as far as I know... Good riddance to bad rubbish.

He seemed to be HEAVILY trained in Stealing and stalk & hide.. and virtually nothing else that I could tell. He DID have a spell allready.

Everyone hated this schmuck.. even the other rogues.. for his attitude and script stealing .. and the arrogance that came with staff seemingly not giving a damn or acting on it. We all reported and complained over and over.. each time getting back the responce that "Stealing is a trainable skill and therefore an acceptable activity.. close your pockets and set your ring for town and ring back & deposit if you want to keep your wealth"

They wouldn't respond to his script-stealing.. which he would do 24/7 without let.. only to wake up in the morning and talk more crap to everyone for an hour or so.. then go back to stealing

Im glad he's gone.. and hope I never see him again.. little craphead

You should have reported him for AFK scripting. Stealing they can't do anything about, Scripting, they can and will do something about. reg

11:39 AMWe DID report him.. many MANY times.. for AFK script stealing.

Your going to believe someone is going to steal without interruption for 22 hours straight is at the keyboard the whole time and never respond to ANY of the spells cast on him the entire time?

I don't know WHO came and got him.. and I don't know WHAT the exact violation was that got him yanked.. im just glad he's gone.. and never want to see him again

11:08 PMKinda hard to believe someone that age was stupid enough to script steal. I would really doubt anyone would do this and not be pulled aside or killed on the spot. I could believe he would sit there and steal considering most people's spring break is this week and those college students who do not work have nothing better to do. So that is believeable.

BUT you give the impression that this person was only stealing from the young...And not from the old folks who could catch him, which leads me to believe this was some wildly sophisticated script (possible) or he was there, and picking and choosing his victims...(more likely) Some people have WAY too much time on their hands...

Also, don't forget you cant report to the constable if someone was caught stealing...Which might make things a wee bit more uncomfortable for a thief.

That being out of the way, would it not be possible to set up an if then to check the "appears to be in their ##'s" and use that to be sure to not steal from over a generalized age? reg

It's very simple with ZMUD. They have triggers so it's very very easy.

10:53 PMYeah...I had a run in with this guy in the crypt. Hunting my young warrior. I thought hmm...bring Quiet in..mess with him a bit? Why not. It just so happens Uliq was watching. I stalk fogged this guy to voln like 8 times. Along about the last time I was going to..he "disappeared" Havent seen him since. It was quite amusing that last time though...I bound him in voln courtyard:

06:37 AMThanks Quiet.. appreciate it.. its nice to know some folks are willing to deal with folks like this.. its amazing how staff are so damn gun-shy at stepping in even though WE as players SEE what the little bastard is doing day-in & day-out.

I think I explained it to a couple GM's... who didnt seem to HEAR the "He's SCRIPT stealing" part... Just the "Stealing".. and would always blow it off as a trainable skill and not bother to get involved.

Unfortunately my Warrior is FAR too old to do anything that wouldn't kill the little shit, (except maybe warcry). Anything else, including tackle would probably kill him since he spends most of his time totally naked
