Boring?

05:06 PMIs it just me, or has GS been getting more boring every month that passes by? If you think it's getting better or more exciting, let me in on the secret of how your getting more enjoyment, or any enjoyment, out of the game.

08:17 PMI find that I enjoy things more if I interact with people, instead of just hunt, rest, hunt, rest.

You could also try exploring a little. Take some time to really read those room descriptions you pass through every day. They'll give you a whole new insight into GS. reg

Read the room descriptions? Thats why i have highlight strings...so i DONT have to read..., my head starts hurting when i read anyway...explore? Why...so something can kill me? I hate dieng...i cant even sit in game for 5 minutes without being bored outta my mind...

11:26 AMGS is fun if you do other stuff in your life.

I used to smoke pot all the time and it got boring after a while so I quit.

Then I got involved in a lot of sports, did well at school, etc.. so when I found time to smoke, it was real fun.

Everything gets dull in excess.

My advice: If you're bored with GS, don't play for a while and when you come back, move to a different town. Don't play too obsessively, or in excess, and GS keeps it's flare. Don't always powerhunt, and do fun things. I don't know.. GS was real stupid for me for a while, but now I'm back and having the most fun ever.

I honestly don't read the room descriptions anymore unless it's a new area that I haven't traveled to. reg

11:26 PMI was bored myself up till about a week ago when one of my friends discovered the one place in the game where it is possible to fish. Since then, I've been in contact with the area designer (GM Wolv) and even ask for some changes (being able to throw the fish back, fixing a typoed sign) to be made...and lo and behold...they were. He's also got a bunch of other suggestions to make it possible to hold fishing tournaments and cook the fish as well that he said he'll be working on.

And to think...this place had been there for 9 months and not a soul knew of it.
