11:44 PMI started him following a sctrict training plan...since then its changed. Im starting to 2x shield and cm now. once i get full share ill stop that and work on reading scrolls. What does everyone think? thanks

09:30 AMI don't know that I'd go all the way up to 24 ranks (102 skill) in mana share, but that's a personal choice you'll have to make. I've decided that all those extra TPs would be better spent elsewhere, whether it be for scrolls, saving the TPs, whatever.

Dropping off mana share for me at 10 ranks has allowed me to begin 2x'ing CM and 3x'ing stalking/hiding, which I think will be much more beneficial.

Personally, I wouldn't double shield, but that's a heated debate all on its own. I'd dump those TPs into 2x'ing armor use, at least until 180 skill. You'll get other opinions on this though, for sure.

Do you plan on getting any spells? Is he in Voln? Just curious.

Just going to disagree with the previous poster a bit on mana share though... It's worth it. Train in it.

Right now you can skip it for a while. 66% at level 20 is great for a rogue, so my opinion is to get a rank every 2 or 3 levels. This way you should be at 100% by 40 or so, and can send to whoever you want for spells.

Sorry but it's not as easy as some people think it is to just ask for free spells.

People don't just spend mana without asking for mana up front. reg

07:03 AMVery true it is hard to get spells from people. Especially on Teras you must send to them. But my views on mana share are starting to disapear with all of this talk about making more spells only self cast. If that happens then mana share will only be good for others and not helping you. But it is also nice if you train in any spells or if you want to get away with tipping an empath easy. So basically it is up in the air on however you want to do. I like mana share but with future mechanics it might not be that great of a spell.

07:08 AMAlthough I see your point, I really think 50 share is all that you need. Honestly, how often is it necessary to send 100% of your mana to someone? Casters are generally overtrained anyway, which brings your share up to 60-70%, give or take.

And also, as Deprav stated, lots of new hunting areas are promoting self-cast hunting, which may leave a lot of people with a lot of useless mana that they can share.

Just my two cents, though. I'd dump the MTPs into a few ranks of scroll reading or something along those lines.
