Lockpick kits

Once upon a time when the lockpick changes were occuring, we were told that we would be available to kits for picking open those boxes that are magically locked.

Does anyone know what happened to that concept? reg

I think you are refering to the lock mastery skill in the guild, supposedly we are going to be given kits with things like calipers, which allow you to size the lock before a picking attempt, and other tools. The ability to use the tools would depend upon your ranks of lock mastery. If thats not in the ball park I have no idea what your talking about

Perhaps they are one in the same then.

When the changes to the lockpicks and locks happened months ago, they said they were going to sell kits for rogues to use to open magical locks. Now if they changed it into lockmastery, then great.. that's probably the only guild task I'll want to endure to gain.

It just seemed odd to me because the talk of the kits was before talk of lockmastery was mentioned. If I'm wrong, please let me know. reg

Anticor, I remember attending a rogue meeting where we were told about the changes in store for us. I keep checking the guild to see if they have added lockmastery training. I am so reluctant to commit to a course of training after finally finishing a course in subdue. De Luca keeps forcing me to change areas when all I want is sweep or cheapshot, but cheapshot is too hard. Does anyone have advice as to when to try cheapshot (at what age)? It is so frustrating. Shall I keep with sweep up to ten ranks before even attempting Cheapshot? Advise me please. reg
Heh, I hate guild work! Hate it with a passion! The route I'm taking at a really sloooooooow pace is first to master sweep, then subdue, then stun maneuvers, and leave cheapshots for last. I've yet to figure out a reason to have it. At least the other ones are useful.

And yes! I was at that rogue meeting and we were told we'd be getting kits and it wasn't when he was talking about lockmastery either.

Anyhooo... back to the broom. reg
